Volunteering at the Oklahoma Aquarium

Make an Impact

Volunteers at this non-profit and educational facility are an integral part of our mission of "Conservation Through Education". Our volunteers are essential to creating an unforgettable underwater adventure and helping to impart a sense of wonder and appreciation of the aquatic environments in all of our visiting guests.

Our diverse collection of friendly volunteers are relied on to help with a wide variety of operations including greeting guests, providing hands-on experiences with our exhibits, helping to feed our sharks, putting on underwater dive shows in our tanks and much, much more.

Get Involved Now

Becoming a volunteer is easy. If 18 years old and over simply fill out a volunteer application online and then attend an orientation session. If 13-17 years old head over to the Aqua-Teen program.

Internships

The Oklahoma Aquarium offers students the opportunity to get involved with our day-to-day operations and work with staff. Students who participate in our intern programs will receive credit for their time spent working at the Oklahoma Aquarium.
