Volunteers

Make an Impact

Volunteers at this non-profit and educational facility are an integral part of our mission of “Conservation Through Education”. Our volunteers are essential to creating an unforgettable underwater adventure and helping to impart a sense of wonder and appreciation of the aquatic environments in all of our visiting guests.

Our diverse collection of friendly volunteers are relied on to help with a wide variety of operations including greeting guests, providing hands-on experiences with our exhibits, helping to feed our sharks, putting on underwater dive shows in our tanks and much, much more.

Get Involved Now

Becoming a volunteer is easy. If 18 years old and over simply fill out a volunteer application and then attend an orientation session. If 13-17 years old head over to the Aqua-Teen program.

Jenks Courtesy Patrol

The Jenks Courtesy Patrol is a program designed to provide customer service support while performing a periphery public safety function.  The goal of the program is to provide a welcoming, family friendly atmosphere at the Jenks Riverwalk, Oklahoma Aquarium, Main Street, and the new Village on Main districts.  In staying with our theme “Think Blue to go Green”, volunteers 18 and older will be driving one of two Wheego Whip all electric patrol vehicles.
