January 2015   

6, 13, 20, 27 - Seaside Seniors on Tuesdays - Seniors (ages 62+) visit the Aquarium for $6 on Tuesdays. The Oklahoma Aquarium is an all-indoor facility and the perfect place to spend a morning or afternoon warming up alongside the sea. Plus, don't miss our feed times or coral reef dive! (Pre-registered senior groups visit for $6 on any weekday, call for more information.)

February 2015

10 - Aqua-Tots – 11:00 – Bring your little ones out for a special Seaside Story Time. Join our educators for an interactive experience!  Visit the Oklahoma Aquarium Coral Reef Café for lunch and order a Treasure Box. $5 for a drink, PB&J or hot dog and chips. Aqua-Tots is for ages 1-5. There is a maximum of 35 children, first come, first served. Program is free with paid admission or membership entry.

14 – Hugs 'N Fishes Valentine’s Day Dinner – Get lost in a "sea of love" and spend your Valentine's Day seaside at the Oklahoma Aquarium. Enjoy dinner, drinks and a stroll through the beautiful exhibits at night. For more details and to reserve your spot, click here.

16 – Behind-The-Scenes Shark Feed Tour - 1:15 - Join our education staff for a Shark Feed Tour! This premier tour allows you to walk to the top of the shark exhibit and watch as biologists feed our 15 bull sharks and 4 nurse sharks. You can't get any closer without getting in the water!

  • Adults – $12, Youth – $10 plus general admission or membership.
  • For safety reasons, tour not recommended for children under 5 years old.
  • Behind-the-scenes tours will be sold at the main admission gate on a first come basis, and limited to 15 people per tour.  No advance reservations can be accepted
  • Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver.
  • The tour includes a fair amount of walking and climbing stairs, so we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or strollers in the working areas.
  • Sturdy, closed toe shoes are recommended for both your safety and comfort.

March 2015  

5, 6, 9 and 10 – Symphony by the Sea for Students – 9:50 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – A unique field trip opportunity combining arts and science education through a partnership with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. Students travel to three stations in the Aquarium to learn about a particular animal or habitat and a selected musical ensemble – like Sharks and Strings! For more details or to register your group, click here***10 – Homeschool Day for Symphony by the Sea – Symphony by the Sea for Students on March 10th has been reserved primarily for Homeschool Groups.

April 2015  

11 – Aquarium Run –  The Aquarium Run features a half-marathon, 10k, 5k and 1 mile fun run/walk starting and ending at the Aquarium campus. Kids' activities, food and complimentary race day admission to the Aquarium exhibits round out the family fun.  Please click here for further details and to register!

18 – Earth Day / Scout Day  – Activities from 11:00 to 1:00 - The Oklahoma Aquarium hosts Scout Days to honor all youth organizations and their members (such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, 4-H, FFA, etc.). There are special activities offered from 11:00 to 1:00 pm, but the discounted rate is available for the entire day (remember the last ticket is sold 1 hour prior to closing.)

  • $7 per student (age 3 and over) and or; $10 per adult (cost includes full Aquarium admission)
  • To receive discounted prices, youth organization members must be in uniform or carrying organization membership cards.
  • Adults must accompany a youth organization member, maximum of one adult per child admitted at discounted price.
  • Junior Marine Biologist badges may be earned by fulfilling requirements outlined at the Aquarium that day and patches may be purchased for $3.
