Ongoing – Fish Tales - Kids tell the best tall tales and we are celebrating that creativity and wild imagination with Fish Tales. Click here for all the details on how your kids can write and/or draw a picture for discounted admission, the chance to win prizes and other fun stuff this spring!
1 - Behind-The-Scenes Shark Feed Tour - 1:15 - Join our education staff for a Shark Feed Tour! This premier tour allows you to walk to the top of the shark exhibit and watch as biologists feed our collection of bull and nurse sharks. You can't get any closer without getting in the water!
- Adults – $12, Youth – $10 plus general admission or membership.
- For safety reasons, tour not recommended for children under 5 years old.
- Behind-the-scenes tours will be sold at the main admission gate on a first come basis, and limited to 15 people per tour. No advance reservations can be accepted
- Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver.
- The tour includes a fair amount of walking and climbing stairs, so we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or strollers in the working areas.
- Sturdy, closed toe shoes are recommended for both your safety and comfort.
Mermaid Days and Pirate Days - During our popular HallowMarine, we offer special appearances by our diving mermaids and pirates. Why should October have all the fun? We're presenting Mermaid Days and Pirate Days full of arts and crafts, games, treasure hunts, plenty of friendly mermaids and pirates to pose with on dry land and underwater! The mermaid or pirate will dive at 3:30 in the Coral Reef on selected days. Additional activities are offered while supplies last.
Mermaid Days – June 4, 7, 13, 22, 28
Pirate Days – June 5, 8, 14, 27

6 – World Oceans Day – All Day – June 8 is International World Oceans Day and we are celebrating on the 6th! Dive into our undersea world and learn what a big role water plays in the health of out planet. Join our staff for activities in the Great Hall.
12, 17, 26 – Marine Biologist for a Day – Dive into an aquatic adventure and discover what it takes to be a marine biologist at the Oklahoma Aquarium! Junior marine biologists will experience the daily workings of the Aquarium, including: food preparation, animal feeding and care, water quality testing and even performing a necropsy. 19 – Aqua-Tots! – 11:00 - Bring your little ones out for a special Seaside Story Time. Join our educators for an interactive experience in front of the 500-gallon shark exhibit! Aqua-Tots is for ages 1-5. There is a maximum of 35 children, first come, first served. Program is free with paid admission or membership entry.
19 – Sleep with the Sharks - Ever wonder what it would be like to snooze alongside our sharks? Find out at our next overnight Sleep with the Sharks event! Enjoy a dive show, scavenger hunt, flashlight tour and movie, then spend the night alongside our exhibits. Click here for more details and online registration.
21 – Father's Day - Show Dad he’s your favorite fish in the sea, on Father’s Day, all Dads get into the Aquarium free. It’s our way of saying “tanks” for being an anchor and guide. (One free admission with each paid admission)
24 – Scout Day Activities from 11:00 to 1:00 - The Oklahoma Aquarium hosts Scout Days to honor all youth organizations and their members (such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, 4-H, FFA, etc.). There are special activities beginning at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last, but the discounted rate is available for the entire day (remember the last ticket is sold 1 hour prior to closing.)
- $7 per student (age 3 and over) and or; $10 per adult (cost includes full Aquarium admission)
- To receive discounted prices, youth organization members must be in uniform or carrying organization membership cards.
- Adults must accompany a youth organization member, maximum of one adult per child admitted at discounted price.
- Junior Marine Biologist badges may be earned by fulfilling requirements outlined at the Aquarium that day and patches may be purchased for $3.

4 – Fish and Fireworks - The skies over Jenks will light up with one of the longest, most brilliant fireworks shows in the area and the Oklahoma Aquarium backyard offers a front row view. More details to come for our annual Fish and Fireworks event.

24 – Homeschool Day - The Oklahoma Aquarium features quarterly Homeschool Days. These are days when homeschool students and teachers can enter at a discounted rate. There will also be information and activities in the Great Hall beginning at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last.
