The Oklahoma Aquarium Run is intended to promote physical fitness and an overall healthy lifestyle while raising funds for Aquarium educational programs and exhibits. The Aquarium Run offers an event for every fitness level from the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk which encourages families and children to exercise, to the 5K for mid-level runners, to the half-marathon for more serious athletes. A state record was set in the female half-marathon last year, so the Aquarium Run is drawing great interest from all corners of Oklahoma. All runners and walkers are rewarded for their efforts with a post-race cookout and party on McGraw Beach and free race day Aquarium admission. The Oklahoma Aquarium is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit so all sponsor
donations are tax-deductible.
